How we simplified and digitalized Stena Line’s workflows and terminal operations

Surikat and Stena Line signed their first contract in 2016, with the initial task to simplify and digitalize the damage checks and claims handling processes across their European network. From small beginnings, the product range grew until Surikat was supplying Stena Line with a fully comprehensive portfolio of tools to aid the running of operations across their 20+ terminals in Europe. In 2021, Stena Line renewed their 5-year contract with Surikat to continue enhancing their terminal operations and improving their customer experience across their network of routes and terminals.

Stena Line is one of Europe's leading ferry companies operating 37 vessels on 17 ferry routes across Europe. The Swedish family-owned ferry company plays an important part in the European logistics network and each year more than 2 million freight units are handled in their terminals and carried onboard their ferries. During the last years Stena Line has accelerated their digitalisation journey in all areas of the company, including the ports and terminals operation.
